PAST & FUTURE EVENTS - 2001 Past Events April 28th -- The Timbretones presented their 27th annual Barbershop Show at the Lamplite Play-House in Nacogdoches, Texas. In addition to our chorus, we had performances by the Sweet Adelines chorus from Livingston, Texas, the Senile Serenade and Gender Blenders quartets from Nacogdoches, and Fourever Yours, a quartet from Crockett, Lufkin and Nacogdoches. Our featured attraction was the internationally known quartet TULSA TRADITION fromTulsa, Oklahoma. May 14th -- The Fourever Yours quartet performed at the San Augustine Historical Theater at a school band benefit concert for two high school boys with leukemia. The band played numbers from the 1950's and 1960's, and the quartet performed a number of songs from that era. June 3rd -- Fourever Yours performed for the Grand Opening of the recently remodeled HEB grocery store on University Street in Nacogdoches. July 1st - Fourever Yours sang at the Harmony Hill Baptist Church as part of their July 4th celebration, singing the Star Spangled Banner and America. July 4th - The Fourever Yours quartet sang as part of the Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful Independence Day evening activity. August 7th -- The chorus and two quartets performed on the square in Nacogdoches for the National Night Out celebration sponsored by TRIAD and local law enforcement agencies. August 14th -- The chorus and the Fourever Yours quartet entertained the residents of the Oak Manor nursing home in Nacogdoches. Future Events Tuesday, August 21st The Chorus and one or more quartets will perform at the Piney Woods Apartment Association's monthly meeting to be held at the Piney Woods Country Club in Nacogdoches. Saturday, September 29, 2001 The East Texas
Timbretones Chorus will perform on the Forest Trail Sweet Adeline show in
Livingston, Texas. Fourever Yours will be the headline quartet for that
show. Details such as the exact time and place will be provided at a later
date.
